Webhooks

Our Adverse Media API uses webhooks for quick updates.

When you set up your webhook:

• If it doesn't exist, a new record is created.
• If it already exists, the record is updated.

Set Webhook

To set your credit assessment webhook:

• Login to yout Sigma Dashboard
• Go to My Account page
• Click on Api Keys & Webhooks, then click on webhooks tab
• Update the URL for Adverse Media product
• Enter webhook url and save 👌

After adverse media checks finishes, you'll get a webhook response at your chosen endpoint. This response has important details.:

Parameter	Type	Description
info.id	String	The unique identifier for the adverse media check
info.query	String	The search term used for the adverse media check (e.g., "Hushpuppi")
info.count	Integer	The number of results returned by the adverse media check
info.limit	Integer	The maximum number of results that could be returned
result	Object Array	An array of objects containing the details of each adverse media result
result.title	String	The title of the news article or media report
result.link	String	The URL link to the full article or media report
result.keyword	Object	Details about the keywords associated with the adverse media result
result.keyword.confidenceScore	Number	A numeric score indicating the confidence level of the keywords' relevance
result.adverseInformation	Object Array	An array of adverse information elements related to the result
result.adverseInformation.keyword	String	The type of adverse information (e.g., fraud, money laundering)
result.adverseInformation.score	Number	A numeric score indicating the relevance of the adverse information keyword
